My husband & I just had a tasty take-out lunch from Pho Diner. We had shrimp summer rolls - 2 tightly rolled rice paper rolls filled each filled with 2 large shrimp, noodles & herbs. The dipping sauce leaned in on the hoisin/plum side - rather than our preferred peanut sauce - but it was still quite good. I ordered chicken pho which was fresh, lots of noodles, chicken, and bean stouts. I wish there was more fresh herbs, but it was good. The beef pho are certainly more flavorful, but I don't really eat red meat anymore. My husband liked his dish - grilled pork vermicelli. The sweet and sour sauce was tasty, and it was a pretty large portion. Service was friendly and prompt. The order was ready in 10 minutes. And though we didn't dine in, my husband said the ambiance was ok - not really date night material, but the colorful decorations were festive in a very casual setting. We'll definitely be back when we return to the area to visit family. It's exciting to have good Vietnamese in Yorktown!

We love eating here, their Chicken with vermicelli is awesome, the marinade and seasonings are perfect. I have enjoyed their sushi and fried tempura prawns as well.

Reasonable prices for delicious Vietnamese food. The pork Bahn Mi was juicy and well marinated with fresh tasting pickled veggies and soft bread. The ambiance is spacious, modern, but cool with many lanterns hanging from the ceiling (my photo does not do it justice). A hidden gem as it is larger than it looks from the outside. There is also bar seating, outdoor seating, and a sushi bar! Our food came out quickly, our server could have used a note pad.

Picked up dinner from here and had a lovely fresh meal. The service was great from placing my order over the phone to when I went inside to grab my food. Everyone I encountered was helpful and pleasant. Inside there is quite a bit of seating and it has nice lighting. Will have to go back sometime and dine in. Now for the food: Fried Egg rolls-great flavor. Nice and crispy! Crab Rangoon-good as well. Was craving these so they hit the spot. I got the chicken egg noodle stir fry and it was very tasty! Lots of good veggies with the chicken. Would love to come back and try more of their dishes!

I ordered take out from here last night. From the phone call, to the pick up and even till I got home to eat it everything was fantastic. When I got there the wait staff welcomed me in and had lovely small talk. When I got home (10 minute drive) my Pho was still hot. The P2 steak and meatballs, were fantastic and a nice large portion. I want to come back and dine in to give another review. Everything and everyone was great and I can't wait to eat there again.

The food here is clearly the best Vietnamese food in the entire Hampton Roads area. It's wonderfully presented and the flavors are authentic. Not only did I order the shrimp, chicken and beef for lunch but I ordered every Bahn Mi on the menu to go! Fantastic family environment, wonderfully attentive staff and it's obvious they care about their customers.

Went here b/c of the Yelp reviews. I gotta admit, I love the fact that Yelp will always steer me in the right direction. This place is quaintly tucked away in a shopping center and is notably pleasant to walk in to. It has a modern feel with a ever so slight 'hang out' place. I wouldn't know how the place is during prime time as we came during the area post-lunch/pre-dinner but we thoroughly enjoyed the service. I really enjoyed how they bring a cart out with all the 'fix-ins'. Having to ask for the spices gets annoying after awhile. Speaking of that, whatever chili sauce they give, is just freaking delicious. Highly recommend trying it out! The sushi... was decent. Not gonna say it knocked our socks off, but it was pretty decent. Overall, if we're in the area you can bet we'll probably stop by. RFC (Review from a child) - The soup was really good. I wish they had kids chopsticks. But I shared my soup with mommy and it fed both of us. Food Taste: 4 Overall Service: 5 Value of food to cost: 5 Facility: 4 Ambiance: Very clean, modern. Has a slight 'anime' feel to it (if you're in to it, you'll get it). Repeat customer: yes Dog Friendly: no

This gem is tucked away in the corner of a small shopping center- you'll see the Starbucks in the opposite end before you see Pho Diner. My first impression walking in was how clean and how friendly the staff were to when greeting us. I tried the P2 soup combination - delicious and highly recommend. The other person in my party had a rice dish with the most tender chicken... very well seasoned. We had spring rolls as an appetizer which I would've preferred had there been four vice two in the plate. The sauce and peanuts were delicious on the rolls and left me wanting another. I didn't get a chance to try the sushi or milk tea offerings while there but look forward to returning soon to try those as well. My initial visit was great, the waiter was very attentive and kept waters full and plates taken when done. There is an outdoor seating area as well that is probably nice to sit in when the weather allows. Check this one out if you find yourself nearby.

The aromatics are the first thing that you get walking through the door. Second thing is a friendly face to invite you to sit anywhere. The food needs no words but I will share a few. Fresh isn't something you usually associate with pho or really any strip mall restaurant; but this is FRESH. You can taste the quality ingredients and time spent finding the perfect blend of spice and herb. These broths are so full of flavor you don't need sauce! Not pictured is the bahn mi we destroyed, but that speaks for itself.
